Last Saturday I had the pleasure of doing my 2nd trunk show at GAIA in Winston Salem. The owner Robbie Hoyme, is one of the savviest buyers I know (and not just because she loves debe dohrer design). Her discernment in selecting lines with brevity and conviction say a lot about her lifestyle and about her clients. GAIA’s clothing, accessories, and shoes all make the statement –“ I am confident in who I am and steadfast in my beliefs. “

Robbies’ style throughout the store exudes a bohemian sophistication mixed with an organic Mediterranean inspiration. Her clients are a delightful mix of somewhat traditional to astonishingly brave. Their adoration and admiration for Robbie and her knowledgeable staff, Megan, Stevie, Carrie, Maclay, Geni, and Nova, is apparent from the moment they step in the door until their departure. A visit to GAIA is truly a highlight of one’s day and a very memorable experience.
